ABOUT ME

MY STORY

Hello everyone! My name is Emma Sager and I am so excited to be starting my blogging journey with you. I hope that what I share here will be an encouragement to you and point you to Christ.

The inspiration for this blog came from several different places. I have always enjoyed books and stories where the characters go on great journeys that are full of adventure, hardship, sacrificial love, and victory in the end. I have come to realize that I am part of just such a great story, one that has stretched back to the very beginning.

Now that I’ve introduced the blog, here’s a little bit about me. I live on a farm in Indiana with four younger siblings.

I love reading. (No matter how hard I try, I can’t stop stacks of books from accumulating on my bedside table.) I also enjoy writing, art, spending time with my family, watching videos about sailing and dreaming of one day owning my own sailboat, and playing violin.

Recently, I was blessed to be able to go on a music mission trip to Italy with a small orchestra. It was an amazing time of being able to bless the churches and believers in Italy. I think one of the most important things I learned there and have been thinking about a lot since coming home is what it means to live for Christ. To be sold out for Him and a willing traveler to wherever he leads and whatever he calls me to do.

I hope this blog encourages you and causes you to look to Christ and seek to use your gifts and talents to bring him glory.

See you on the journey!
